The Beneteau 523, designed by Groupe Finot, is a masterpiece and flagship of the Beneteau fleet. Performance, and comfort both at sea and in port have been combined which led to Cruising World magazine's prestigious "2006 Boat of the Year award". The Beneteau 523, equipped with air-conditioning and generator, boasts a spacious and bright interior with 5 queen sized double cabins with en-suite heads and showers. The customized layout of this 523 features a unique extended aft head with separate shower area. The fifth double cabin forward can be accessed either through an adjoining door from the forward starboard cabin (making it ideal for a family with young children) or from the deck hatch and ladder to allow for complete privacy between cabins. The connecting door also adds increased ventilation throughout the yacht. The galley comes fully equipped with microwave, blender, toaster and stove. It is sociably positioned facing the luxurious leather upholstered saloon to enable easy banter between crew and chef du jour! Above decks, the extra large cockpit provides ample seating for all aboard.
All sail handling is done from the cockpit, and twin steering positions allow for ease of passage making and excellent visibility when manoeuvring. The generous transom, makes watersports and getting to shore by dinghy, a breeze. Ample equipment includes oversized winches, electric windlass and a bow thruster.
