Peter Holmberg Quote – "Horizon is a great company to sail with – they have the Caribbean covered with four great locations and being sailors themselves they really know what charter guests want. They have built their reputation on well maintained yachts and personal customer service".

The winner of this competition will also get to spend a day with the 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist, Peter Holmberg. An ideal opportunity to find out about Peter's professional sailing career over the past twenty years, ranging from Olympic dinghy sailing, representing the US Virgin Islands to joining America's Cup Team Dennis Connor, BMW Oracle and driving the winning America's Cup yacht Alinghi in 2007. His years of match-racing placed a premium on perfecting the finest details, from boat set-up and straight-line speed, to boat handling and rules. These combined skills give him the tools to make any team sail to its peak potential. More recently, Peter has decided to base himself back at home in the US Virgin Islands. He still jets off to international events as a 'hired gun' and is considered to be the pre-eminent racing talent in the region. He believes the Caribbean offers the best sailing in the world. Consistent tradewinds, clear warm waters, sunshine and beautiful islands combine to create perfect sailing conditions.
