Dear Compass, We are enclosing a check for a year's subscription. We picked up a copy of Compass while recently chartering in the Grenadines out of Grenada. We enjoyed our cruise - the "off" season was fine with us - and furthered our anchoring and sailing skills with no screw-ups (just a little tension on our part). We gained confidence with a very good boat, a Bavaria 42 from Horizon Yacht Charters in True Blue Bay, and in anchoring with a lot of chain. Carriacou, Union Island, Mayreau, Canouan and especially the Tobago Cays were beautiful. On Mayreau Curtis taxied us from Saltwhistle Bay to the village for provisioning and shared beautiful overlooks and views of his island. Union Island and Clifton Harbor were also very nice and the people friendly. Horizon Yacht Charter is what brought us down there and beyond the BVI. They were great. We hope to come back.
